Ahmad Shah: Terrific capture.
Brian Morin: This was both a surprise and a shocker. I was trying to get some shots of a more distant Ring-necked Duck when I spotted this Bufflehead diving very close to shore and only about 5-7 metres from the car. The problem was that weed stalks were in the way, partially obscuring the shot so I waited until the bird would dive them backed up just enough to give me a chance. I was able to get it between the weeds with enough room to perform a decent crop. I also had it in perfect light and distance. As you know, without sun, this bird's head is black.

Burlington - A beautiful little diver. It was facing just the right way to capture the iridescence on the head.

Chris: You’re exactly right. Interesting because normally birds facing slightly away are tough but in this case, it’s a huge success. What a cute duck.
BrianMorin: This one was tough but worth hanging in with the bird until everything was right. He's a little cutie for sure.
