Chris: Terrific one Brian. I had to go back through the Sedge Wrens as this is not often uploaded…looks like you had one last in 2014. It would be a lifer for me.

Lancaster - Cooper Marsh. Not as clean as Rick Poulin's picture this week but a pleasant surprise nevertheless. The multi-year water drawdown at Cooper Marsh has meant that cattails are no longer present in the eastern portion and have been replaced by sedges and grasses, perfect for a small colony of Sedge Wrens. Very hard to see but they call well early and late in the day. The area will have water levels raised again in a couple of years so the Sedge Wrens will leave.
