At the very end of the day, a few rays of sunlight came in on this one, at West Vancouver. He doesn't want the Snowy Owl to overtake his spot as the top photographed bird. Currently tally is 168 to 166 in favour of the Heron :)

Chris: He landed just in front of me but didn’t stay long…had to be quick. At first I thought it was the mockingbird that had been reported…but a great consolation prize lol.
