St. Rose - I call this one white on white. The day had very poor sky conditions but can it ever really be a bad day to take a Snowy picture? At least it wasn't on a pole.

St. Isidore - apparently this bird is a regular at this roadside stop. On this day I could see one of its associates atop another Petro Canada sign at the same station.

St. Rose - In my ongoing hunt for variety in Snowy Owl shots I came across this very dark juvenile female atop a fencepost. I rarely see birds at that level and the fact that she was cooperative enabled me to approach reasonably close without flushing. I used the car as a blind.

St. Isidore - I got lucky. About one bird in 40 is an older adult male. I waited for 75 minutes for this bird to do something besides sit atop an ugly power pole with its eyes closed. It began hunting and moved to a better perch, with its eyes open.
