A bit unusual plumage, but the length of the beak could only be Dunlin. Slightly bigger than the Western Sandpipers in the same area.

Top of Sea to Sky Gondola (890 metres), Squamish BC.
A poor photo but the best I could get in the five seconds this bird was visible. A first for the site and a nice surprise on a Mother's day excursion with my wife.

We had a 4 day fallout period where Queen E park resembled a miniature Point Pelee. This park is perched on Little Mountain, about 2 Km from down-town Vancouver.
