This is artwork, not the actual photo. Although I shot towards the morning sun and most of the Osprey was in silhouette, some of the white of the tail feathers and under the wing showed, so I increase the contrast by 35% to darken those areas.

Sometimes it pays to keep an eye out for roadside attractions!! (66)
While driving down Jacaranda Blvd in Venice, we spotted a family of cranes deep in a roadside ravine. They eventually came out of the ravine and browsed the roadside for a while before changing direction to browse the parking lot behind a Walgreen's.
