Cornwall - This was a case of being in the right place at the right time. I was sitting in my car by the water and the kingfisher flew up to a rock for a perfect photo setting.

Excellent detailed shot, Yes that is true, photography is always
being in the right place at the right time.
As I’m sure you know from experience, this is a difficult bird to get close to. I wasn’t on top of it but close enough for a good capture.
