Another tough one, however did not want to venture out into the sagebrush to get closer as this is an endangered species in Canada. Seen about 50 meters west of White Lake, BC, Canada.

Nighthawk Border crossing road near Osoyoos BC.
I had hoped to see Lark Sparrows on this road but had no luck with them. I stopped for lunch off the road and noticed a bird that looked a bit like a flicker out my window. I got out to check and was rewarded with this lifer, a Sage Thrasher. This is near-desert habitat, so they are seen here
