Iona Regional Park, Richmond BC
This park is right beside Vancouver International Aipport. It also hosts a sewage treatment facility with a jetty that juts 4 KM out into the ocean.

This owl was about halfway out on the jetty. I flushed it at first, but it settled close by and then co-operated for a couple of shots.

I visited a residence where a pair of Mountain Chickadees had been reported. The people there were willing to let visitors into their backyard. I think the Chickadees had move on by this time, but I got this shot among others of common feeder birds. This one was a happy accident.
