There is a communal garden here where many gardeners put up nest boxes. It is the best place to get close-ups of these and Tree Swallows in the lower Mainland.

This bird has been at a feeder in Vancouver since early December. I saw it back then but was not able to get a photo. The owner of the property has cut back some of the blackberries so that the feeder is more visible.
