Details: female

St. Rose - taken about 5 minutes before the sun dipped below the horizon. The bird's eyes seemed as big as saucers – beautiful.

Details: immature

Kingston - Wolfe Island; I waited a long time for this species. It does not show clearly but the cere on the bill is yellowish, rather than pale blue seen on young birds. However, it isn't very extensive so others are thinking this bird is a sub-adult but not a young bird.
