Iona Regional Park, Richmond BC
This park is right beside Vancouver International Aipport. It also hosts a sewage treatment facility with a jetty that juts 4 KM out into the ocean.

This owl was about halfway out on the jetty. I flushed it at first, but it settled close by and then co-operated for a couple of shots.

Another life list addition for a bird that is common here in the fall. All I had to do was walk on the foreshore at low tide and they were running all over the place. It was hard to get a good shot as it was noon on a sunny day.
