Nighthawk Border crossing road near Osoyoos BC.
I had hoped to see Lark Sparrows on this road but had no luck with them. I stopped for lunch off the road and noticed a bird that looked a bit like a flicker out my window. I got out to check and was rewarded with this lifer, a Sage Thrasher. This is near-desert habitat, so they are seen here

Near the Keremeos Cemetery. The road they were about to cross was isolate, so I was the only observer. You can see the worry on the parents' faces.
