This bird was sitting on 4 eggs in a parking lot where boats are launched.I fear for the outcome as the park was set to open May 9th.Too bad that killdeer like to lay eggs on stones.

adult, outside normal range
A huge stir occurred at Long Point, Ontario last Saturday when a Bell's Vireo turned up. The bird is fairly similar in appearance to the Blue-headed Vireo (former Solitary Vireo) but with a less distinctive eye-ring/lore pattern. Not a great photo, but a record of the event nonetheless.
