To my great surprise, I've now photographed a second Yellow-throated Warbler in the Montreal area this fall. This bird was trying to find food along the St-Lawrence River despite chilly temperatures and lots of snow. Seen at the Port of Montreal this afternoon trying to stay warm.

This young Red-tailed Hawk was actively hunting this afternoon (as can be seen by wet feathers) in company of 2 other Red-tailed Hawks and a Snowy Owl at the airport in Dorval.

I'm actually not 100% sure this is a Ring-necked Duck - any help would be appreciated. The eye line extending back and downward in a curve was quite distinct. Seen at St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.
