Birding since the late 1980s...mid 40s birder. Being out in nature and hearing the morning chorus, seeing how birds interact with their surroundings and go about their lives provides me a greater understanding of the natural environment we live in. With bird photography, every photo is different, which makes seeing the same and different species exciting.

Seen in the distance and in difficult light. This individual is far off his normal path and although the habitat is perfect for this species, it will likely not be able to breed here as he appears to be alone. Nicolet, Quebec.

For the first time I witnessed what some referred to as a fallout. There were so many warblers it was hard to keep track of what was moving through. Hopefully an experience to be repeated. Seen at the special location of Long Point, Ontario.
