Details: male, adult, outside normal range

Strathroy - A pair bred here last year. A male has returned but there was no female yet. The next closest breeding is possibly Manitoba (rarely) and Saskatchewan but mainly Alberta. It's a great find.

Brian Morin: These birds dislike open areas but once in a while one will poke around at the edge of the cattails. I could hear two calling about 5 metres away and eventually this one came into the open briefly.
