Pine Siskin (Jan.16,2009 Pointe Claire,Qc)
This little fellow hit our window.We looked out to see his wings stretched out and his head buried in the snow.I rushed out and picked him up expecting him to be dead.He was limp but I felt a heartbeat.I warmed him in my hands and placed him on the floor of a bird cage with water and thistleseed.
After 3 hours in the house he was eating and moving , ready for release.Bonne voyage.
