Presqu'ile Provincial Park - I made the lengthy trip hoping to find some of these interesting birds. I had some luck in the afternoon. This is peak time for the Whimbrel flight. Presqu'ile is on the periphery of their migration. Toronto is where most of the flight passes.

Embrun lagoon - We stayed until sunset and their numbers built up. We had over 1,000 by the end of the day and there were only 150 90 minutes earlier. That is a really good number of any shorebird species here these days.
