Sunday was a quiet day at Ile Bizard - aside from the usual Canada Geese this was the only other bird we spotted. It was too far away to identify at the time - needed to enlarge to tell what it was. (in the trees on the farside of the marsh at the first boardwalk).
While parked at the Dorval weather station, to my huge surprise a Cooper's Hawk flew up from a ditch right beside my car. Fortunately I had the camera. The bird stayed for about a minute but was being dive-bombed by a Kestrel. It then flew over runway 24R and into the woods on the north side of the airport.
