Only a few Ravens have been uploaded. I find this species to be fascinating to watch. We were lucky to have a family of up to 6 this year at the airport. The most recent action was last week when a Peregrine Falcon and 2 Ravens entered into an aerial display for a couple of hours over the airport field. This one is seen a few seconds before sundown at Dorval, Quebec.

We stumbled into a family of Buntings, the juvenile was about 20 feet away from the parents. It looked like it had just eaten something.

Napanee Plain Alvar - I failed a couple of weeks ago to get anywhere near these rare breeders. Today there were about 5-6, probably a single family and two birds were about 150 feet away, much too far to shoot. Then one came in closer and eventually landed beside the road near my car. It was almost too close to shoot and the upper angle was very awkward for an inside shot but I managed to do it. This is a very rare breeder in Ontario.

Formosan blue magpie or Taiwan blue magpie. This pretty bird is faily large with very long and nice tail feathers. It might be elected as Taiwan national bird. This crow family species live in a tight family structure, so the sighting is always at least four or more birds. Very aggresive, the flight looks more like floating than hard beating of the wings.
