Glossy Ibis (15)Plegadis falcinellus Brian Morin Canada (Ontario) 📍 Map Details: adult, winter plummage, outside normal range Carleton Place - cooperative individual Date uploaded: Sep 16 2024 Views: 21 Comments (2): Sue Bishop: Wonderful!Brian Morin: In the past week several ibises have turned up in parts of Southern and now here in Eastern Ontario. This bird is arguably the easiest to spot and photograph, beside a subdivision along a walking path. We were able to take time out and check for a couple of Nelson's Sparrows along the cattails. They were much more challenging.
